金絲玉，是近十餘年新興玉種。其質地通透，呈玻璃光澤，內部帶有如金絲般的蘿蔔紋，色彩豐富，有紅、黃、白、粉、紫等色，被譽為「彩玉」。金絲玉成分為石英岩玉，硬度更高、光澤更亮，但不及和田玉的溫潤油脂度及深厚文化底蘊。
