性味與歸經： 辛，溫。歸脾、胃、肺、腎經。
功能與主治：溫中降逆，補腎助陽。用于脾胃虛寒，呃逆嘔吐，食少吐瀉，心腹冷痛，腎虛陽痿。

The medical usage:
For cold and pain in the stomach, hiccups, vomiting: often used with shi ti (persimmon stems). For vomiting, often used with ban xia. (Not to use in cases of vomiting with heat syndromes).For impotence, weak legs, or vagina yeast infection.
